For the Cupcakes:

(15.25 oz) box of yellow cake mix (or a similar size from scratch recipe (box makes a 13x9 cake), then just add the pudding mix and make batter as you normally would!)

almond extract* (you can also use a lil bit of lemon extract in place of the almond extract for another super delicious variation!)
