Pumpkin Pie From Scratch

Ingredients

  1. 1 whole pumpkin
  2. 1 can evap. milk
  3. 1 can sweetnend condensed milk
  4. 1 cup sugar
  5. 4 eggs
  6. 2 1/2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice

Cooking Instructions

    pre-heat oven to 350°

    Cut your pumpkin in half and remove the seeds.

    Place pumpkin cut side down in a pan with water. Cook till pumpkin is soft.

    Peel and mash the pumpkin till smooth (if you have a food prosser you can use it).

    Add your caned evaporated and sweetend milk and stir well.

    Add sugar and pour spices. Now before you add the eggs taste the pumpkin mix to see if you need 2 add extra sugar or pumpkin pie spice.

    Add eggs

    Place mixture into pie shells (you may need more then 2 pie shells depending on the size of the pumpkin).

    Place pies into the over. The pies will be ready when you stick a knife in the center of the pies and it comes out clean. They will be done.

    Allow to cool a bit and serve.
