Ingredients

  1. 1 box Large Shells
  2. 15 oz Ricotta
  3. 1 Egg
  4. 2 cup Mozzarella, Shredded
  5. 1 cup Pepper Jack, Shredded
  6. 1 packages Fresh Chives, Chopped
  7. 1 1/2 cup Spinach, Chopped
  8. 1 jar Mariana Sauce
  9. 1 tsp Onion Powder
  10. 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  11. 1 tsp Dried Basil
  12. 3/4 tsp Salt
  13. 1/2 tsp Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400

    Boil pasta shells for 9 minutes following Directions on the box.

    After boiling, drain, & set aside to cool.

  4. 4

    Mix together Ricotta, Egg, & Mozzarella.

  5. 5

    Stir in all seasonings, including salt & pepper.

  6. 6

    Add spinach & chives and mix well.

  7. 7

    Layer the bottom of your baking dish with 1/3 of your Marinara Sauce.

    Begin filling your shells with the mixture either using a tablespoon or piping bag.

    Place filled shells on top of Marinara in the baking dish.

    Top shells with Pepper Jack Cheese

    Add the remaining Marinara Sauce over your shells.

    You can sprinkle some more cheese over Mariana if you wish.

    If you are making this meal ahead as a freezer meal, stop here, and cover with foil, then place in freezer. See step 16 for cooking directions.

    Place pan in oven for 30 minutes to bake.

    Broil for 2 additional minutes.

    For frozen meal, preheat oven to 400 & remove foil.

    Bake for 1 hour.

    Broil for additional 2 minutes.
