I boiled for 2 hours and they were so tender. Also use salt to season your food otherwise you will have bland ribs.

You might have bland ribs after boiling them for 2hrs, I don't cook with salt if I can avoid it, and I do not use it on my meats when cooking and have very tender meat all the time with great taste! I add other seasonings instead of salt to get great taste! O:-)

Your ribs had absolutely NO TASTE if you follow your recipe and you said nothing in the recipe about "other seasonings being added for flavor" the liquid smoke and garlic dont add enough flavor so we added more and salt for flavor. I get you dont use salt but be more specific about what your using for flavor. I simply had to improvise to ADD FLAVOR. o_O
